A freeform stone wall is built without a grid — the stones are read, sorted and placed by eye so the wall has movement and depth. We build boundary walls, feature fronts and entry walls that frame a property and lift the whole street.
We are based in Morayfield, QLD and work right across Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast & the Gold Coast. Daniel and the team turn up, treat the prep and substrate as seriously as the finished face, and lay every stone by hand. That is the whole reason to use a stonemason instead of a panel system.
It means the stone is not laid to a regular pattern. Each piece is chosen and placed to sit naturally against its neighbours, which is harder to do well but looks far more like real stonework.
Yes. We regularly tie stone walls into timber and metal fencing, capped pillars and gates so the whole boundary reads as one design.
